Question about providing references

Postby Anonymous User » Thu Dec 20, 2012 3:40 pm

All of the people I have listed down as references have also written me rec letters... For the applications that ask just for references should I send in my rec letters as well or just drop a note on my references sheet saying rec letters available if wanted

Just list them as references and don't add anything about letters. If an employer doesn't ask for letters to begin with, they won't want letters; they'll just call if they want to know what your references think. (IME, it's pretty much only judges that want actual letters.)
