Best Bar Review Course for FL Bar

Post by T14Dilemma » Tue Nov 13, 2012 5:59 pm

Hi! Does anyone know what the best bar review course (between BarBri, Kaplan, and Themis) is best for the FL Bar? BarBri tries to sign people up on my campus a lot, but I feel like they mostly advertise NY & CA bar passage rates & I don't want to lock myself into something that isn't the best choice for the bar I plan on taking. Any tips or suggestions? Any personal experience?

All three are overpriced garbage designed primarily to pray on your fears/stress you out and priced based on a fantasy view of the legal job market.

I had friends that used barbri and some that used themis for the FL bar last summer. All of them passed with either company. Themis is the only company that would give a FL passrate and is considerably more affordable than barbri. I agree with "theseal." Don't get caught up in the fear factor that some of the company's use to sign you up.

In my office everyone passed using Barbri, Kaplan, or Themis. I'll say that Barbri's Florida Multiple Choice questions were not very representative of the actual questions on the exam.
