Thinking of taking a job with an ID mill (40 lawyers total, though I would be working in a satellite office in a major city with only 5 attorneys currently). Starting pay: $85k. I've been explicitly told that pay increases are merit based and entirely up to the office's managing partner.
What's the general word on ID mill's in terms of pay 4-5 years out?
I'm not expecting anything fantastic, just hoping not to top out at $100k.
