I am doing a judicial internship here in Houston for my 1L summer, but ultimately want to work in Dallas when I graduate. Is this going to be an issue later?

Top 5-10%. People with an interest in finance/business are a plus. Also, they like interesting people. Although, I have no idea how to qualify that.

Cravath gets a hard on for people from highly ranked undergrads. I think it's really the only way they screen candidates who aren't at the absolute top of their class. Only firm that I know of that asks for undergrad transcripts from 2Ls.

i heard they dipped to median (and slightly below) at CLS last year (for 2L).

In response to a thank you note I sent, the hiring partner accidentally let me know that I'm not getting the job but that they really want to interview me next year.
