Is Herbert Smith serious about only hiring from Yale, Harvard, Stanford, NYU and Columbia? In the beginning I thought it was joke, but they have certainly been ignoring my e-mail application and re-iteration of interest from a lower t-14.

They posted on Chicago's symplicity but have similarly ignored my pleas

I am fairly certain they have conducted more than one interview with low T1/T2 students.

The only firm on my T6 Symplicity is Murray, Plumb & Murray in Portland, Maine. There hasn't been a big law posting in over a month. From what I gather they're all done.

1L in other thread had an upcoming K&L Gates interview, so won't be surprised if they had a spot left among the 2L summers. Who knows which office though.
