Re: Chadbourne & Parke: Summer to Permanent Offer Rate?
NOT a Dewey situation. Dewey went under because they made absurdly lavish financial guarantees to bring in personnel ... with this many people leaving, it's likely the opposite (that they don't pay well enough).
That said, partners are often valuable because of their clients, not their skills - fewer partners means fewer clients, which I'm afraid to say may means fewer associates.
But, also remember that firms poach from each other all the time, and lateral movement is extremely common - have you looked into how many partners or associates Chadbourne has acquired laterally?

They do seem to acquire laterals quite often.

This isn't always bad news. OMM had a bunch of shakeups and seems to be going strong these days.

Thank you all! But does anyone by any chance know if they request transcripts? Like first-hand?

And if offers come before they request grades (assuming they do request)?

Sorry to see the previous post edited away. It offered solid reason for concern about Chadbourne's direction.

Yes... if you were not anonymous. It would be disrespectful to the person who regretted the info. to just provide it again.
