do offers initially come via letter? Or was this just the official letter after the callAnonymous User wrote:
I can see how you might be skeptical, but I can personally confirm that I have in fact seen said dude's offer letter.

I tried but couldn't get ahold of anyone. I also emailed an updated resume which I haven't received a response from. Maybe everyone's still on vacation?

Well I just got an email from the regional office where I interviewed saying that while I was one of their top candidates, the offer went to someone else who has already accepting. So I think it's game over at this point.

Sorry to hear the bad news. Did this email come after you asked them, or did they send it without you prompting them?Anonymous User wrote:Well I just got an email from the regional office where I interviewed saying that while I was one of their top candidates, the offer went to someone else who has already accepting. I sent an email yesterday asking where the HUD office currently is in the process. I will update everyone if/when I hear back.

"First and second round offers have already been extended. Pending acceptances/declinations there may be subsequent rounds. Once the entire selection process is complete, letters will be sent out to all applicants who have not been selected. That process will be completed by the end of January.
