Gordon & Rees

Postby Anonymous User » Thu Sep 20, 2012 2:20 pm

Does anybody have any insight on this firm (particularly the San Diego office)? I can't find recent salary information anywhere. The firm seems to be expanding fairly quickly, but it appears that they still pay considerably less than market. Any thoughts or incite regarding pay, culture, quality of work, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I used to work in the same building as their SF office. Stu Gordon seemed like a cool guy from the receptions I went to honoring him (he's always getting honored). But I also heard mixed reviews from someone who actually worked there.

Woah, I had no idea they were as big as they are. 500 lawyers? That's pretty nuts that they pay $110 or whatever (just read this on Glassdoor) despite being that big. Sorry I can't offer more.

I know a few people who work at the SF office and have nothing but great things to say.

Good stuff guys. Anyone have info on the SD office in particular? I got a great vibe at my CB. But I heard that starting salary at SD is slightly lower than SF. Anyone know if there's any truth to this?

wow, that's a name i haven't seen in a while.

use to work for the LA office as a case analyst in undergrad. the partners were really nice and always appreciated any extra info we had for them on the class action defense. talking to the associate that supervised us, she was very happy with her job.
