Top players for Silicon Valley startup/tech/VC work

There are the indigenous firms: Cooley, Wilson, Fenwick, Gunderson. Are there branch offices who are also prominent in Silicon Valley startup/tech/VC work? Orrick? Perkins? OMM?

Really just the four you listed above, though apparently Goodwin Proctor is also working hard to become a player.

There's actually a number of others. Latham, Skadden (sort of), Perkins Coie, Goodwin Procter, and Wilmer (smaller extent) come to mind. Orrick and MoFo do some, too.

From what others have shared with me, Orrick is a much smaller player now.

Goodwin is definitely one of the top out of town players.

O'Melveny has a Menlo Park office that claims to focus on emerging tech. Anyone have thoughts on it?
