Boies Schiller NY v. Wilmerhale NY

Postby Anonymous User » Tue Sep 18, 2012 11:56 am

Have to decide very soon. Pros/cons? For litigation of course.

Would there be any reason to accept Wilmer over Boies aside from better culture/life balance?

Not OP Anon.

Do you already have an offer? Or are you seeking advice on deciding between 2L SA offers? The distinction is important. I, personally, would take Boies for litigation any day if I had an offer in hand at graduation. But they typically don't hire 100% of their summer classes.

This is for a 2L SA. I'm not terribly concerned with offer conversion. It's more the hours and the long term transport of the job. I would imagine Boies opens bigger doors quicker, but perhaps I'm wrong on that
