I have OGC, too. Wish I knew what the odds are!

So I see OCIJ and OGC. Has anyone gotten the BIA, OLAP, or OCAHO? I know the interview notices are out, but I'm wondering how many people were selected (especially for the BIA ;))

Someone earlier in this thread posted they had received an e-mail from ENRD:

Anyone heard from a component in EOIR other than OCIJ (i.e. BIA, OGC, LAP, OCAHO)?

What parts of Crim have people heard from?

I (and someone else on here?) heard from OGC, and I think someone on the Avue community site posted they had an interview with OLAP.

Today I received an email stating that veterans preference applicants (I'm one) were referred to ALL components, regardless of whether we selected them.

Did all veterans get this e-mail at the same time? If so, I think there's a serious problem with the application process, because I didn't, and I have 10-point preference. I just asked in the Community forum about it.

Also, were you able to see the preference selection marked when you printed out your application? I could not, but was assured by Ms. Willis that the components would be able to see it.

I can't say for sure, but the people that posted about it got the email around the same time I did. I'm only 5 point preference, but yes I could see it on the application.

I'm interviewing with DC and one field office (didn't apply to the others). Why?

And does anyone have a clue how many people ATR interviews? Or how many people per spot they interview? The aforementioned field office is scheduling all of its interviews for two days. Given what they said about the format, there are no more than 14 candidates for the single spot available, but it's probably more like 10 or less. I know nothing about how ATR at the DC HQ does it, but I'm curious to find out.

How did you find out about the field office scheduling all its interviews for two days? The only limitations I saw on the travel survey were USAO and EOIR.

Has anyone heard from the USAO ND-IL? They are "informal participants," so I don't know if they are following the same timeline.

Just wanted to thank you guys for this thread, really good info. I somehow made the cut for a NSD interview.

Stats:
Tier 3 school
Top 15%
No law review/journal
No National Security job-related experience
Current federal gov internship (non-related)
No legal work last summer

I can honestly say, I have no idea how I got an interview, but I am thankful they must have seen something they liked.

Has anyone heard from the SDNY US Attorney's Office?

I know it's still early, but has anyone's travel itinerary for their interview been faxed to them yet?

I'm always nervous that they didn't receive my travel survey. I wish they would let us email them instead of fax.

My first choice was the week of the 15th so hopefully the travel itinerary will come on the earlier side -- I'll be sure to post as soon as I get it.

Well, they did say that the travel itinerary info (if you have to fly/train outside your normal commuting area) would come by e-mail, but that then the central schedule stuff would be faxed (with another copy of your itinerary). Did you get the time of the interview by e-mail, or just the other travel stuff?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
