I know of at least one student at my school who did this. I imagine if you just take a year off and come back as a 2L you will get to do OCI again. But I think it would be a waste of time unless you are getting some law related experience in during your time off.

The best idea is to get into some BS joint degree program or JD/LLM program. Fill up on easy A seminars and try again with better grades next year.

If you need to find your job outside of OCI this time, you probably would need to do so if given a second try.
