mass mailing small firms - is it too late?

Postby Anonymous User » Mon Sep 03, 2012 6:51 pm

So it seems that I've struck out of OCI and I am thinking about mass mailing smaller firms that don't recruit at my school (top 30), is it too late to do so? I am not talking about V100s that don't come to OCI just local firms that pay a descent salary.

might even be too early. unlike big firms, smaller firms usually can't project their hiring needs a year in advance.

I mass mailed small firms last year beginning in February. I sense that was a little late but now is definitely not too late.

For clarification, if you don't mind, what were the results of your mass mail in February of last year? It sounds like things worked out despite your feeling it was a little late.

Leadership Directories (Yellow Book). Your school should have a list of 20-50 lawyer firms in targeted cities. Also, your school's Simplicity "Employers" tab is a good place to search. If you Google carefully, you'll find a lot of city-specific lists from law schools without good IT security.
