Ha I feel like everything I see is litigation and all I want is corporate. I think we're both looking in the wrong places. fml
Different poster but where do you see litigation?
I feel the same way. The only litigation positions I have come across are in patent law.

Antitrust/Competition Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright (Hong Kong):

Norton Rose Fulbright is looking to recruit an associate for its Asia competition team. This full-time associate position will be based in Hong Kong.

Successful applicants will be joining a well-regarded competition and antitrust practice in Asia, with a varied work diet including cartel defense work, merger control, abuse of market power and antitrust litigation. The team is involved in many cases across Asia and represents a number of Asian companies in procedures in the EU, the US and Australia. The team’s China-related work is increasing significantly, and the position is specifically targeted at meeting the team’s needs in this regard. Accordingly, native Mandarin language skills are required, as well as a strong academic focus on antitrust. Prior work experience in a competition and antitrust team is a plus, although it is not required.

Applicants who are not already qualified in their home jurisdiction will be expected to gain admission to the New York bar, as well as the Hong Kong bar in due course.

The position is open to all recent and future JD and LLM graduates who meet the requirements.

More information about our practice can be found at http://www.nortonrosefulbright.com/our- ... mpetition/ and at http://www.nortonrosefulbrightgraduates.com/.

Sterne Kessler in DC will consider 3Ls with technical backgrounds for IP Lit and Pros positions, but they don't necessarily require EE. CS, CE, CSE are all sought after.

Will the firm consider 3Ls for IP litigation positions who have a life science background (including a 2L SA at a life science IP boutique)?
