Any more info? I've been told by multiple people that Kirkland is not doing general 3L hiring (although I have heard mention that they might be doing some very light 3L recruiting for a specific practice area).

Yup - one practice area. But most of the 3L openings I know of at this time are for a specific group - either we're lucky enough to match that opening or we aren't

edit: also heard Cravath is looking

I heard Real Estate (in other words, one of the least interesting groups at the firm), but I could be wrong.

Kind of new here. In regard to seeking employment.

Just to be clear, when someone says 3L, do they mean someone who is in their 3rd year or a rising 2L who will be a rising 3L during the next OCI go around?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
