Kirkland / Latham LA

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Aug 30, 2012 8:53 pm

Anyone hear back from these guys yet? If so, please let me know when you did your cb. I am waiting anxiously!

In another note, is Latham as bad as its reputation for treating summers/associates as extremely fungible? What if you click with them better than anywhere else, could the "people" make up for this down side?

CB and offer. CB was about 2 1/2 weeks ago now.

EDIT:

OP, what do you mean by, " Latham as bad as its reputation for treating summers/associates as extremely fungible? What if you click with them better than anywhere else, could the "people" make up for this down side?"

Are you talking about the '09 layoffs or something more?

Kirkland or Latham? And was it 2 1/2 weeks from CB to offer, or did offer come a while ago?

OP here. Yes, the '09 layoffs, and according to my OCS counselor their offer rate is not as good as it should be. He said a few students who had summered there who went to my school got no-offered, but was more disturbed by how they did it. They have an end of summer dinner, but apparently before the dinner on the last day they told the no-offered SAs not to bother coming in the last day, and it was completely embarrassing and disrespectful. This was for a different office, but my counselor said to be cautious with them because they have a history of treating SAs and younger associates as fungible.
