From Summer Associate as 1L to Completely Different 2L?

Good morning,
I am at a T30 on substantial scholarship, my grades are around median and I am beginning 2L year. I lucked out and landed an SA for 1L summer that paid market for my area and I saved basically all the cash. However, I really did not enjoy the experience and am very unsure that I want to be a practicing attorney. With that being said, I was considering sending out some applications to some business type jobs. My dying interest is in real estate and was contemplating mass mailing as many real estate managment, investment, brokerage houses as possible. My UG degree are in economics and entrepreneurship if that may help.
Would this be a wise move? Any advice on how I can promote myself to these places and make myself marketable? Has anyone else ever done anything similar?
