Re: UVa OGI Callback Thread
I didn't want to be a douche and ask this in the regular UVA OGI thread but if I've missed a cb phone call from an interviewer, who then provided the phone # to set up flights in his voicemail, should I give him a ring back just to thank him, even though I don't have any other questions?

Re: UVa OGI Callback Thread
Can anybody interviewing with clifford chance NY give an approximate date for their callback? I was kind of surprised how late mine was...

Re: UVa OGI Callback Thread
Fellow 2L so take this with a grain of salt... but I probably wouldn't. Even when I've answered the phone for callbacks there hasn't been much to say other than "thanks, great, i'm so excited!"Anonymous User wrote:I didn't want to be a douche and ask this in the regular UVA OGI thread but if I've missed a cb phone call from an interviewer, who then provided the phone # to set up flights in his voicemail, should I give him a ring back just to thank him, even though I don't have any other questions?

Re: UVa OGI Callback Thread
Absolutely call back- it is common courtesy. Even if all you say is- "I just wanted to let you know that I received your phone call and I am really excited to come up to [place] for my callback. Thanks again for coming down to Charlottesville and hopefully I will see you on my callback."Anonymous User wrote:I didn't want to be a douche and ask this in the regular UVA OGI thread but if I've missed a cb phone call from an interviewer, who then provided the phone # to set up flights in his voicemail, should I give him a ring back just to thank him, even though I don't have any other questions?

Re: UVa OGI Callback Thread
You could always just send a quick e-mail: Hey, thanks for the call, got your message, will call to schedule flights. Great meeting you, looking forward to visiting the office. Etc.I didn't want to be a douche and ask this in the regular UVA OGI thread but if I've missed a cb phone call from an interviewer, who then provided the phone # to set up flights in his voicemail, should I give him a ring back just to thank him, even though I don't have any other questions?

Re: UVa OGI Callback Thread
CC NY CB was one of the first I scheduled last year. The earliest I could get in was something really disconcertingly late, towards the end of September. I ended up canceling it so I don't really know if you're at a disadvantage that late there or not, but it seems to be a theme for them.Anonymous User wrote:Can anybody interviewing with Clifford Chance NY give an approximate date for their callback?
