As another Debevoise NY person w/ no news, I'm going to have to go with yes, unfortunately.

I didn't want to be a douche and ask this in the regular UVA OGI thread but if I've missed a cb phone call from an interviewer, who then provided the phone # to set up flights in his voicemail, should I give him a ring back just to thank him, even though I don't have any other questions?
You could always just send a quick e-mail: Hey, thanks for the call, got your message, will call to schedule flights. Great meeting you, looking forward to visiting the office. Etc.
This is how I handled this, was fine
Is this approach too weak if it's a partner?

Some might disagree, but I think it's perfectly fine, even if it's a partner. A partner has even less time, and their time is even more valuable, so they might well prefer an e-mail to a pointless phone call. At the end of the day, if they really wanted you to call them back, they would have said so; saying to just call someone else to schedule your callback indicates that they didn't see a need to talk to you again themselves. Either way, this is one of those things (like many in this process) that will seem like a much bigger deal to you than it will to the attorney--they likely don't give a shit either way and won't even remember whether you e-mailed or called tomorrow.

I am very interested in Boies but have not heard back yet. Do you mind sharing GPA / WE history / anything special?

Thanks.

GPA is 3.5ish. No WE.

Schulte gave me the callback at the end of the screener.

Although really happy I got a CB, I find it rather odd as well.

Thanks! However, they must have done it more than once because no one interviewed immediately after me.

Said this upthread, but 3.5ish, no WE, nothing special but given # of CBs so far probably a good interviewer.
