The credited mixer is cream soda. It's still a very sweet drink obviously, but with proper proportions ridiculously good.5ky wrote:I tried drinking it straight in a time of desperate need. Would not recommend. I then mixed the rest with coke in the hope it would taste better. It did not.thesealocust wrote:It's a sticky sweet cinnamon scnapps. Would be sort of like slipping on a glass of hard cinammon candy.
Note to OP: Try not to order a cinammon schnapps & cream soda at a firm interview.

Long island iced tea is like a splash of soda/sweet&sour plus 6 ounces of liquor or something crazy like that. Y'all are alchies.

Pinot Noir just shows that you saw Sideways and think you know something about wine. Also 95% of pinots from CA are garbage fruit bombs designed for people who don't know any better. I'd rather have a North Fork Merlot than a CA pinot any day. Ordering a decent rose (and if you are out to dinner with a law firm the rose is going to be decent/white zin isn't going to be an option) is legit.Anonymous User wrote:Ordering no drink means you are boring and categorized as "smart" but likely to be unable to associate with clients.
Ordering a jack and coke means you are unsophisticated.
Ordering a goldschlager on the rocks means you're an idiot.
Stick with wine or beer. Wine - can't go wrong with a Pinot Noir - it goes with everything. Just don't order White Zin or anything Rose.

I would be very surprised if they ordered liquor for themselves at the dinner. I had a few CB dinners and they ordered bottles of wine. If you do have to choose, I'd go with a wine, which is a pretty safe dinner choice.

Yes, but what if youve never drank wine (aside from chugging sutter home with redbull)?romothesavior wrote:I would be very surprised if they ordered liquor for themselves at the dinner. Just order the house red. Or ask the waiter's recommendation.PaulKriske wrote:Yes, but what if youve never drank wine (aside from chugging sutter home with redbull)?romothesavior wrote:I would be very surprised if they ordered liquor for themselves at the dinner. There are alcohol-drinkers among us who have never had wine? I'd find that hard to believe.PaulKriske wrote:Yes, but what if youve never drank wine (aside from chugging sutter home with redbull)?romothesavior wrote:I would be very surprised if they ordered liquor for themselves at the dinner. But I agree with top30, order something red that's not too dry. I think pinot noir is a good wine to start with if you haven't had a lot of wines before.

1) Grow up and educate yourself about wine.PaulKriske wrote:Yes, but what if youve never drank wine (aside from chugging sutter home with redbull)?romothesavior wrote:I would be very surprised if they ordered liquor for themselves at the dinner. Two people here posted bashing white zin.
I drink a lot of whine. Usually about a bottle a night.
white zin is by a wide margin my favorite single glass wine.
Why the hatred?
Annon cuz i could easily be outed for my love of zin.

Wine really just isn't that hard. If you are as uneducated about wine as you say you are, you probably won't notice or care about the differences between wines. Just don't order the most expensive anything and you will be fine. If you want to learn just start keeping track of what you drink and trying to remember it.f7u12 wrote:or 3) hope it's one of those dinners where they just offer red or whiteparatactical wrote:1) Grow up and educate yourself about wine.PaulKriske wrote:Yes, but what if youve never drank wine (aside from chugging sutter home with redbull)?romothesavior wrote:I would be very surprised if they ordered liquor for themselves at the dinner. Because legitimately good White Zin is too expensive to buy on someone else's dime without them offering and drinking bad White Zin outs you as having bad taste.Anonymous User wrote:Two people here posted bashing white zin.
