I'm not sure if this is unique to me, but I had several interviews (including K&S and Kilpatrick, who I know others have heard back from) and have not received any mail, emails, or phone calls from a single firm I interviewed with. Complete silence. Is this a good/bad thing? Anyone else in my boat?

Considering how quick K&S has been to ding people, it might be a good thing that you haven't heard from them specifically!Anonymous User wrote:I'm not sure if this is unique to me, but I had several interviews (including K&S and Kilpatrick, who I know others have heard back from) and have not received any mail, emails, or phone calls from a single firm I interviewed with. Word is that the hiring committee of A&B was at the olympics and that is why they are behind in making decisions, but they should be back soon/already back and making decisions.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone hear from A&B?

Wow...that is kind of hilarious. I interviewed with them through the job fair rather than OCI, and the lady told me they were going to be having a meeting today.Anonymous User wrote:Word is that the hiring committee of A&B was at the olympics and that is why they are behind in making decisions, but they should be back soon/already back and making decisions.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone hear from A&B?

Re: Emory Law Early OCI
If you look at the ELJ 3L list of where they worked last summer, it isn't very encouraging as far as employment opportunities for the companies that did early OCI goes.
Summer Associates:
-1 at K&S
-1 at Mckenna
-1 at Jones Day
-1 at Bondurant & Elmore (same as the K&S person)
-1 at Alston & Bird
And 0 everywhere else that interviewed. Obviously the people on ELJ aren't everything and moot court people made stuff too, but it's a bad sign because most off the people on ELJ are near the top of the class.

Has anyone heard from A+B, Smith Gambrell, Fish & Richardson, Baker Donelson, Parker Hudson, or Rogers & Hardin?

Yes to Fish & Richardson. Call back via email 3-4 days after screener.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone heard from A+B, Smith Gambrell, Fish & Richardson, Baker Donelson, Parker Hudson, or Rogers & Hardin?
Haven't heard from any of the other firms on your list. (I didn't apply to all of them, though)

1) Most of ELJ chose to go to NYC though-- and were at great firms there. ATL is really hard if you don't have connections, NYC doesn't really care.
2) That list doesn't reflect the offers to the many different firms that those people got. I know one person who went to a firm in DC who got offers at almost all of those ATL firms you listed above. I also know one person who got offers from: Cravath, Skadden, K&E, K&S, A&S, Sutherland, Jones Day, McKenna, A&O, and more.
