References: 1 non-writing/research employer?

Postby Anonymous User » Thu Aug 02, 2012 1:10 am

I am going to have 4 references (our OCS recommends 2-4) for OCI. 2 out of the 4 can speak directly to my legal research and writing. The other one can comment on my general research and writing skills. The last reference is from my most recent pre-law school job, which entailed a lot of client interaction, responsibility, and project management. I received glowing reviews from my boss and have a great relationship with him. Should I put it on my reference list, but make a note in brackets that this reference can only speak to my other professional skills?
