District Court clerkship this late in the game?

If you're applying as a 2L or 3L, you should have a shot at magistrates in your hometown or flyover territory. Once you have a year or two of WE, and if you can find people who are well-connected in the community to make calls for you, district judges could become possibilities as well.

What about slightly above median at CCN? Any chance at dct? Not interested in state court.
