How the hell did Cahill make CBs already? They were only interviewing Friday.

So whats the deal, if you didn't get a call back does that mean its over? Do most firms give out all the callbacks at once?

I've heard of people getting call backs anywhere from on the spot to two weeks later. I wouldn't stress until/unless you get a ding.

I know someone who got rejection emails from Venable and Cravath

Someone else I know got a Cravath CB too

Speaking of Cahill, I was lucky enough to get an interview via opting in. They were my #12 pick and I'm top 25%, secondary. Any chance this was a preselect, or was it just a lotto after cancellations? How selective are they?

To be pre-select they would have to have firms pick extra candidates they want to interview, and then there would have to be some sort of ranking among those extras or lottery system to pick from within them. It seems more plausible to me that opt-ins are lottery. Especially considering opt-in priority went to people with multiple cancellations, which would kind of fuck any "back up preselect" system.

Yeah I got 4 screeners so far through Direct/Greeter (2 greeter, 2 direct)

I know of multiple people who have got them from direct approach, but I haven't heard of either from the greeter program or hospitality suite.
