This sounds about right to me based on last year. LR people with around 3.3-3.4 (in the top 25-33% range) usually netted around 10 screeners

I'm a 3.4 secondary with same. It seems a bit low to me (yours). Sorry, dood.
I'm at 10 and I have around 3.4/secondary as well. Based on these comments that seems on the high end. I was expecting like 8 to be a high point.

i only got 3 of my top 10. fuck my life.
does the "opt-in" option ever yield any interviews? or is it just to make you feel better? like, "hey, maybe something will open up! if it does, i'll let you know!" - love, opt-in button

Ha I opted in to all the firms I didn't get interviews at.
I could see how it could work. For instance - Porzio cancelled OCI at Fordham because all their 1Ls accepted 2L summers so they are set. If any people bid before already accepting 2L positions this summer, they would (should) cancel al their interviews.

I would think people def get interviews from it, I know two people who got accepted to other schools after the bid deadline.

I'm not sure how it works, but this is true. I got an offer from my 1L SA firm and will be cancelling a couple of my screeners.

I'm a little early, but, which firms offer 1L SAs?

3L -- just canceled Latham, Cravath, and CC (wish there was a better system where you could cancel your bids if you received an offer post-bid deadline, but before the schedule came out). Still hope for those who didn't get 'em first time around. Good luck all!

Now that interviews are out, would it be a good idea to send the firms that we've bidded on (but did not get) and not bidded on a separate cover letter and resume in the mail?

same poster from a couple posts above. i got 1, 2, 10, 15, 16, 25, 27, 30, 31, 33.
what happened with my lotto?
#1 is also a firm that's way out of my league. it'll be like if kirstie alley and ryan gossling went out on a blind date.

I got 1, 5, 9, 13, and 25 with one resume advance bid.....
3.38 no journal/MC
This seems a little low. At least I know #25 and the resume advance and probably #13 picked me...?

3.45 and secondary journal with 6 EIW slots; 5 obviously lottery, 1 preselect. Did I fuck something up, or is this about par for the course?

If you want you can pm me your bidlist and I'll take a look, but idk if there's any point at this stage.
Seems like it was either bad bidding or a glaring typo on your resume
