OK to contact atty at firm before OCI resume collect?

Postby Judge Philip Banks » Sun Jul 29, 2012 11:36 pm

Is it appropriate to email an attorney at a firm where I really want to work prior to the deadline for the firm's resume collection? It wouldn't be a completely cold email for an informational interview, as the attorney and I have a mutual contact with whom I'd communicate first.

Bump to add that the atty is a partner, if that makes a difference one way or another.

What about contacting attorneys at the firm after you already submitted via resume collect?
