Mostly quiet on the Midwestern front?

Anyone have anything to add to this CB list for Chicago?

Baker & McKenzie
Latham
Neal Gerber
Mayer Brown

Could some of the bigger chicago firms, like sidley, mcdermott, and mayer brown, be in their first round of CBs? It seems like very few people have heard back, and the ones who do are mostly LR.

3L here.

It's very, very unlikely. I would say if you haven't heard back after a day or two from when the first person reported CBs, your ding is on its way. Sorry if that sounded harsh. I had a lot of false hope of multiple-round callbacks last year, only to be shot down with rejections every single time.

Diff. poster than OP here. Is the general consensus that rolling callbacks are a myth?

I think they are, yeah. Sometimes firms will give out callbacks the day after the first ones went out, but that's typically it. I wouldn't be surprised if some firms did their final callbacks a full two days after the first ones went out, but I would be shocked if callbacks were any more "rolling" than that. For your own sake, just write a firm off if you haven't heard back a day after the time callbacks first went out.

Different 3L here. I definitely had a rolling call back last year from Schiff Hardin Chicago. I think if you don't get dinged right away, you should keep following up with the firms you haven't heard of each week. They aren't going to give a "rolling" call back to someone who hasn't demonstrated any interest since the screener, but someone who continues to demonstrate an interest might get one.

BS
If I was an attorney I would not want to google my name and find it on TLS. Especially with your other info. such as your grades and no journal.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
