Have tons of questions! Even if you don't think they are good. Just to keep conversation flowing. At almost all of my interviews the person started out asking what questions I had for them.reasonable troll wrote:first callback tomorrow - i'd really like to turn this one into an offer.

Also, I got asked a lot of questions about:
-why a big law firm versus mid or small law firm
-a lot of why this firm - in almost every interview
-i got asked twice why i wanted law in such a bad economic climate lol
-i got asked if i knew what i was getting myself into with a big firm
-i also got this: "the best lawyers i know have some real grit. we can hire anyone we want with good grades and credentials like yourself, but i found that i want to hire people who have really gone through something hard in their lives and came out the other side for the better. what kind of experiences have you had like this?" (i have a totally vanilla and boring life so this was extremely hard for me to answer)
