Seconding this. I suggest we number ourselves to gauge how many of the "under active consideration" applicants are on here.

I can start. Anonymous 1. Ranked national office and the East coast regional offices. Haven't heard anything since sending in my office preferences.
I will almost definitely know when any offers go out, whether or not I get one, and I'll be sure to post!

Also received the "under active consideration" / "confirm your geographic preferences" email. (Anonymous 2, I guess).

Does anyone know if there are going to be more interviews before they make a decision?

Are you the one who said there were ~ 50 finalists?

I'm assuming you know or work at the national office? Any feedback about the poster that mentioned the offer that went out?

Initial offers from DOL HQ, NLRB Gen Counsel HQ, and NLRB Board Members Office went out yesterday. More offers may go out over the next few weeks as candidates turn down positions, budgets are confirmed, etc. There were also first-round interviews as late as yesterday (regional), so I guess not all the offices have made decisions yet.

Thanks for the update. How long do candidates have to make a decision?

That sounds more promising than the average 28 day wait. Thank you.

Has anyone received an offer for placement in a DOL regional office?

FWIW, I received the "you're still in the running" email and only gave regional offices as my preferences. Never heard anything after that. Only interview I did was the phoner with HQ.

I'm in the exact same boat and I'm wondering about the above post regarding offers going out from DOL HQ. I'm unclear if that means only offers for placement in the national office have gone out, and regional offers are still pending, or if all offers, including at the regional offices, have gone out. I was under the impression that HQ was handling hiring for the entire honors program, so I'm not sure what to think at this point. If anyone has any information that can clarify, I would appreciate it.

They told me during the phone interview that there would be no more interviews necessary, whether for HQ or regional offices. Not sure why they would send me the "under active consideration" email saying that I could list regional office preferences if that wasn't the case. But who knows.

Interesting - they told me during the interview that regional offices may follow up with an interview. I ranked both when asked preferences.

No - but I heard from a reliable source that they're still in the process of narrowing down finalists.

So what's the word? They already gave first round offers or they're still narrowing? Any reliable info?

Can people who get offers post their school rank (T14, T20, etc), their personal ranking (top 20%, etc) and any softs that may have helped them get in (clerkship, similar fed gov internship exp, strong interview, etc)?

For future applicants!

I don't know if initial offers have gone out. But a reliable source says there are still more offers to go out
