I don't remember my McDermott interview...was SG originally supposed to be paired with MC? Can't remember if they both showed up, want to confirm you're talking about the same pair. thanks.

What's the consensus on holding on to hope at this point for NY firms?

Anyone hear from Proskauer (PA) or Cadwalader (EB)? I know CBs went out for other interviewers.

+1. Amen to this. Especially if you're like me and have just barely hear back from half, we're in the holding zone. With how quickly the dings seem to be coming, if you haven't been rejected you're still in the fight.

It seems like it is a rolling process even with giving callbacks so I am still hopeful as well -- though I would say that if they are going to ding us just get it over with! The agony!

That would be too convenient. Dinging us takes time... they have to have the interviewer type up some bullshit letter about how they were impressed with our talents and skills but they have so many wonderful applicants so they cannot invite us back for further interviews (best of luck in your career!) and then they have to sign that letter, scan it as a PDF, and attach it to an email that they address to us individually...

For those still waiting... Last year I got a CB from Sidley over a month after EIW had ended (and also after I had accepted elsewhere, natch). It can happen.

Ding from Cleary (WO).

Hardly surprised, that was far and away my worst interview. I'm amazed it took them this long.
