Resume Question

How would you go about adding high grade in a class to your resume if that class doesn't have a book award attached?

I don't think you would. Your GPA/rank would speak to that, no?

Some of the sample resumes from my school's career office show them listed, but all the examples are classes with a book award. I'd like to be able to list it if I can. GPA is at median now, but was lower last time class ranks were calculated and they won't be calculated again until next spring.

Our school had CALI awards for highest grade in a class, which is basically just a way of adding it onto your resume as an "award" even if there's no book award attached to it.

Don't know if your school has something similar--if not, then I don't know how you'd add it without sounding stupid. Suppose if you really wanted to, you could add a line that said "highest grade in x" but I'd probably ask career services if that's something advisable... I wouldn't suggest it.

Yeah, that's probably the best bet.
