I know one person who got a BakerHostetler (DC) CB - I still haven't heard anything back from them. I assume the dings are just super slow. The CB was about two weeks ago.

I got a ding at Dickstein (DC).

I know of people with a few offers in hand, but I also know people without any, and people who're still interviewing. Some firms in major markets have yet to extend CBs or dings. I don't think it's unusual to not have an offer at this point.

Hey, was this by postal mail or email?

I know someone who got a cb. Everyone else is still waiting for a ding. I'm not sure why it is taking them a month to send it out.

Of people I know who got CBs from those firms, the decision wasn't based on stats. Some people had high GPAs and others had below median GPAs
Has anyone received a Varnum offer yet?

Any other people without offers and getting increasingly worried? What's the next step, keep mass-mailing?

A 3L friend told me today that if you have an offer at this point you are in the minority. That said, I'm nervous, nervous as fuck.

For people who went on CB's and haven't heard back, were you given an approximate time-window (e.g., 1-2 weeks) for a response, or did they just say that they'll get back to you?

7 CBs, 1 ding.

The people I know who are "done" (been on CBs and received all their offers and/ or dings) fit into one of the following categories:

1) Received dings from all/most CBS quickly (probably poor interviewers)
2) Received a bunch of offers from their home-town secondary market
3) Received a bunch of quick offers because they're charismatic and in the top 20%

It seems that the other 80% of students have 0 to 1 offers, 0 to 1 dings, and are waiting to hear back from 3, 4, or 5 CBs. There's nothing to worry about yet.

4 firms told me 1-2 weeks, 3 firms told me it could be 3 weeks or more.

Guys, I know its tough but don't be too stressed out...yet. Most people got offers from now until mid-October last year. Firms wait until they've interviews a decent chunk of people to make offers.

Many people got offers into early-November as well.
