Dist. Ct. Background Check
Would a class c misdemeanor from seven years ago have any impact on a background check done on interns at a federal courthouse?

I highly doubt it.

Re: Dist. Ct. Background Check
When I was getting fingerprinted for my district internship, the US Marshall admitted that it takes so long for background checks to be processed that I'd be done with the internship before they get any info back.
But I guess that would depend on how far in advance everything is processed. Mine was done within a couple weeks of starting.

Debatable. Unlikely to matter though. I disclosed an arrest and misdemeanor conviction from 8 years ago. They said it would "probably be fine" but then it ended up not showing up on the FBI fingerprint check at all.
