I really enjoyed my CB with them. The reason for the no-offer was.....fit? Work product?
probably because the office is on the brink of financial collapse?

Probably part of that. Apparently grades... which were the same the entire time that person summered. A few years ago, firm no offerred half the class.. surprisingly only the SMU group. Odd prestige-whoring, considering they are, like above, on the verge of financial collapse. Just looking for excuses to lower their headcount. Either way, not worth trusting them

I was at the Gibson Dunn dinner and got an email yesterday about a cb in the Dallas office. Haven't heard anything from anyone else.

Avoid Bickel. No one in the actual legal community respects anyone at that firm. Shady ethical practices in the name of "strong litigation tactics." Insane working hours for a firm with the prestige of garbage workers without pride in their job.

Good to know. I have much better boutique options, but was considering taking the CB because it didn't force me to miss class.

I heard of someone hearing back from Susman.

Looper Reed said it would be about a week until after they recruit at other schools. They added me to their schedule after I talked with them, so I really doubt they just planned to reject me, so I have no reason to doubt this. No idea about A&B.

Just FYI: Had a callback with JW (Dallas) last week. I believe that the hiring committee will be meeting this week to make decisions. Apparently they meet every other week. Just some information from those waiting to hear from them.

Was your Baker Hostetler callback this morning or Monday?
Monday, and it was the Houston office.

At Texas Tech and interviewed with Munsch and TC yesterday. Got a callback from Munsch the same day of the interview. HTH

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
