Can someone give me any insight into Crowell? Either rejection emails or CBs?

Interviewer asked for all the documents I had but I just gave my last transcript out this morning but I submitted one in my application. Also I'm sick and it was warm so I touched my face like 7 times because it was sweaty. How bad is this looking for me? We talked about running and pro bono work that they do for the firm and how I did the same work this summer. It was good conversation minus my hand wiping my face. Ugh.

If people haven't heard from Choate yet, don't despair. I just got a call from them now (10 min ago), thinking I was dinged because others heard earlier.

When was your interview? They claim to do CBs within 24 hours, but that seems pretty unrealistic to me.

I think that's fine. I also felt gross because it was so hot today. I walked to campus (40 minute walk) in a black suit and felt sweaty before the day even started. Good chance your interviewer felt just as hot and gross.

You take the lsat and the waiting kills you. You apply and the waiting kills you. You take exams twice and the waiting kills you. You do the writing competition and the waiting kills you. None of that has prepared me for this week. And this wait is so much shorter.

How do we not hear about more stress induced heart attacks among law students?

I guess the answer must be alcohol.

Seriously... I have a massive headache and feel incredibly stressed. These interviews are not even hard. But somehow, interviewing is incredibly stressful. Everyone seemed so burnt out today... nobody has been getting sleep.

Agreed. I felt like at least 4 of my interviews so far went well but the wait to hear if i got a cb is awful, especially now that i know (if posters on this thread are to be belived) that callbacks are going out.

I would like to stop staring at my phone or email at a reasonable hour and do sth more productive... this "waiting" is a full time job...

Go do something else. Distract yourself. All you're going to do by waiting is psych yourself out. Some firms make CBs in 24 hours. Some take a week. Some take two weeks. Until you get the ding, you've got to just roll with the punches.

RG told me decisions will be made next week. Perhaps not all decisions, but that's what they said.
