No firm offers here, but I do have bites from public interest organizations and an offer for summer work at one. While I would much rather work for the PD or DA, I realize public interest hiring is an uphill battle.Anonymous User wrote:Not to be a debbie downer, but does anyone else not have an offer yet? Not necessarily. Smaller firms in secondary markets can be slow as molasses.Anonymous User wrote:What gives?! Potter must have given out call backs at this point right? Re: 2012 Penn OCI Thread
Have done 7+ callbacks, and none have resulted in offers or rejections yet. Still several more to go, but I am starting to get a bit nervous. Primarily targeted NYC, with a couple secondary markets. Grades are pretty good, and on LR, but that doesn't seem to be helping at the callback stage. Whatever happened to New York moving fast?Anonymous User wrote:No firm offers here, but I do have bites from public interest organizations and an offer for summer work at one. Hope this is true cause I really liked the firm. But I have a feeling the people with potter callbacks are just too busy to waste time on TLS since their doing CBs!! HAHA!

Yo, chill. 7 callbacks with several more to go? Law review? Go have a beer. New York is a bit quicker in inviting callbacks but all firms can take a little time assessing their critical mass levels when it cones to actually extending offers.Anonymous User wrote:

Offer from Milbank. Callback yesterday. Some firms are slow, some are fast. Entirely depends on the firm, notsomuch the city. (At the post-callback stage, that is).

Has anyone who went to their callback night on 8/28 heard anything?
