McKinsey/Consulting

Post by Ozymandias » Mon Jun 18, 2012 3:30 pm

Rising 2L at CCN - we just got an email from McKinsey about applying for next summer. I read through all the old threads about consulting, and case interviews and tips were pretty well covered in those, but I had a couple additional questions if anyone has experience with this.

How hard is it to get an initial interview?
Does undergrad prestige matter?
How important is your law school GPA?
Work experience?
Someone in a previous thread mentioned SAT scores - is this only relevant to those applying out of UG?

Any/all advice is appreciated, and doesn't need to be specifically about McKinsey; just mentioned them because of the recruiting email. Thanks!
