What kind of work does orrick sv do? I know it's mostly ip, but is it soft ip or mostly patent?

Nixon Peabody is an old SF firm and a great place to work (Lillick & Charles merged with a Boston firm, took in a lot of Thelen partners, too). They prefer California schools and like to recruit people with work experience.

How the f*ck does Phillips and Cohen hire? there's nothing about hiring on their website and their attorneys' emails aren't even listed. Do I knock on their door?

So can anyone give some advice on mid-size firms in the area? I struck out at OCI so I am mass mailing more firms. I've already started but I need to keep going. I have a list through the school but it isn't very long.
