3.66 at Penn, thoughts on potential bid list?

Postby Anonymous User » Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:00 pm

I'm a rising 2L at Penn with a 3.66 - I'm guessing this is around the top 15% mark. This isn't a full bid list but these are some of the firms I'm thinking about, roughly in bid order. All New York offices and I'm leaning more toward corporate work.

Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton
Weil, Gotshal & Manges
Morrison & Foerster
Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison
Latham & Watkins
Simpson Thacher & Bartlett
Sidley Austin
Ropes and Gray
Gibson Dunn & Crutcher
Sullivan & Cromwell
Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe
Jones Day
Willkie Farr & Gallagher
Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom
Debevoise & Plimpton
Shearman and Sterling
Clifford Chance
White & Case
Paul Hastings
Davis Polk & Wardwell
O'Meleveny & Myers
Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson
Goodwin Procter

Do you guys think my bidding is too aggressive or too conservative? Are there any firms I should be including? Thanks!
