I didn't get a lot of NY. The fact that NY and DC went high fits with the aspie stereotype of our class, I think.

If that helps lower the medians in Chicago, I'm all for it.

Got 21: 49, 36, 34, 33, 32, 29, 24, 20, 19, 15, 14, 13, 11, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Surprised to not get London firms... did not expect them to be this popular. I got few NYC firms in the l late20s.
They were firms that we did not have GPA info. from 2011. I think people ignored such firms.

We need someone who bid chicago in the teens to let us know whether he got any. If they did not, Chicago might be as competitive as ever.

NYC and a secondary market that would out me. No Chicago bids since no connections with city.

Got 22 1,-5, 8, 12,13,15,17,21,23,24,26,27,35, 38-43

How low did K&E Chicago drop? I got them at 8. Got a Chicago firm at 35, but after 17 mine were all 2ndry midwest markets.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but are you pretty much guaranteed your first five bids at NU? Or are all you guys good at bidding?

Hard to miss the first 5 bids. The most popular firms come with 80 interview slots.

It depends but I would say most likely. The exception would possibly be an insanely popular firm that doesn't have an overwhelming amount of interview spots (for Chi this means Sidley I'm not sure if there was a NY equivalent). I bid Sidley at 1 just because I heard of someone missing them at 3 last year. Once people know that a firm is hard to get it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts and drives the bidding even further.

Edit to add I missed katten at 6, did anyone miss them at 5?

Katten is another firm that can be missed top 5, 40 slots plus a lower median than the elite Chi firms

That's what 160 spots will do. Wish I had bid them lower now, though.

Prof Hill is filling in for Bill*, IIRC. Don't know who is covering Puja's people. Most people I know in those parts of the alphabet are dissatisfied with career services

Who came to 3LOLCI? I don't think I could see that list as a 2L.

I got 21 out of 30 bids: 1-17,20,23,26,29

Didn't really have a target market, just a practice area of interest.

So judging from Dave's email, K&E shit the bed when they received a stack of 160 resumes?
