Edit: While I understand why people are so nervous, etc, I do think for once career services made a very good point, it doesn't help to worry about firms you haven't heard from yet, it's more productive to focus on interviews and mass mail, and maybe it'll help everyone relax.

I mean, I know you generally hate people (who doesn't right?) but I don't get that comment. I mean, what is an obscene law student? Do they have to be naked and doing something sexual or just of a prurient interest?

And how are people bragging on a forum where everyone is anonymous, and doing so with an extra level of anonymity?

Can't you just let them have their fun? How else can we convince our friends and lovers how busy we all are with OCI if we aren't refreshing TLS for some more BS every minute or so?

On another note, everyone is stressed and tweaked. So I think giving people the benefit of the doubt re: bitchiness is probably a good move. As someone above said, competition, exhaustion and stress make people do weird things
