Figured these threads are in style and I haven't seen anyone's identical to mine yet. 3.51 with a 3.3 median. Should put me in the top third for sure (possibly close to top 25% idk). Any advice on where to bid/look into would be appreciated. Looking to make sure I lock up biglaw litigation, willing to do NYC. K-JD.

Bumpity? What are the biglaw firms I should be looking hard at given my gpa? The resources from CSO are pretty much useless.

Similar position at probably the same school.

Probably bid big class sizes at semi-grade selective firms in the V10 - V50. Should be able to land a V50 and probably snag something closer to the V25ish range.

Though this is correct, there are V10s that are worth bidding on, too.

OP here. If I am fairly risk adverse how should this affect my strategy? I would like to take a shot at firms like Skadden, Weil, Cleary, Davis Polk, Simpson Thatcher, and Ropes Gray, but I'm not sure how many of these reach-y firms should be highly ranked (heard there's a low shot of getting Weil/Skadden ranked below ten). Should my top ranked firms be more along the lines of Cahill, Proskauer, Paul Hastings throughout the top ten to make sure I get in front of the firms where I stand a good shot, or would I be under-bidding?

you can always mix in a few reaches here and there and hope to hit on some other ones lower down
