Grad pays off $114k student loan in cash

Postby PDaddy » Wed Jun 06, 2012 2:05 am

Tell me again how a JD isn't immediately useful for going into business, or how a person should NOT get a law degree unless he/she wants to practice law. I agree that the JD route can be rather circuitous for someone with corporate business in mind rather than corporate law (although the two overlap), but it can work out well for someone who has a solid plan and is determined to make it work.

The JD route certainly isn't the best way to go into a startup or become an investment banker, but it can be done.
