What's significant? I think it also depends on how much they liked you. The offer is probably yours to lose. The drop is a negative, and presumably you have shown some positives, so they have to balance it and make a call.

From 25% to just below median. Overall, above a B+.

If you go to Penn, go to registrar and look for yourself.

I did check with the registrar and because all the grades are not in yet they could not answer. . that is why I asked for a guesstimate.

ConLaw, CrimLaw, and your admin elective are going to fit the standard curve.

Your other elective is a big ???...you may be able to "guesstimate" based on how they graded past years.

Does anyone know how much, or how little, weight "honors" in LW carries for OCI?

Ya ok three classes are graded on strict 1L curve which you have plenty of past grades to guestimate from. The last class may have a strict 1L curve too, even though past years show better distribution but these classes have more 2L/3Ls who are not graded on the same curve thereby may skew the distribution data. Bottom line is you can guestimate better by going to the registrar and look at the books. Don't roll your eyes until you understand, you are the one who couldn't figure out afterall.

Depends on what you say about it, and what you else you got going on. It's a big positive, but then out of context can't really say how it will be weighed. I do think it carries more weight than a substantive grade.

LW as in legal writing? Employers seriously consider it more than a substantive class?

It's also more directly relevant to the real legal world.

Yeah, when Penn starts grading LW it's going to be very interesting to see how firms react.

Anyone know if i come close to top third: A, B, A-, B, B+, A, B+, B+ One B and one B+ were only worth 3 credits, the rest are 4. It comes out to around 3.47 (I think). Thanks!

does anyone know what these cutoffs were?
