I can imagine how you feel. It doesn't hurt to keep pushing, though. The worst that can happen is they don't give you an interview. I can imagine you're feeling awful, but I bet you can turn it around if she's a reasonable person. Good luck!!

these online applications are the worst. why are they any better than just receiving resumes through e-mail?

I didn't count dings at all. I just kept mailing and doing stuff until I had an offer in hand.

Did a job fair and just got an email saying they want to defer a decision on my application until after they do OCI at my school... Is this a soft rejection? Sad because it seemed like one of my better interviews.

pretty sure it's standard practice to send your stuff to the recruiting coordinator.

If it's any consolation, I had 2 screeners at a job fair turn into CBs long after I screened, and after the firms had done OCI at other schools.

That said, quit worrying about shit you can't control. Keep applying until you have a job.

applied about 2 weeks ago. and yeah, thats how it happened.

Are both of you targeting Tampa? I did my interview with Hill Ward last week, and apparently, I was one of the first interviews. The recruiter said callbacks wouldn't occur until mid-to-late August.
