Rising 2L and attending a school in a state where I know I won't end up practicing in. I've been looking at some state appellate court internship positions during the school year and I was wondering if there is pretty marginal value in interning in a state court where I know I won't be practicing in that state? If I want any sort of judicial internship experience during the school year, the state courts here are really the only realistic options I think. Should I really be aiming for a federal judicial internship in this state or just forget about it and do a part time internship at a local firm in my field or something?
