That is 40k less than Wachtell, Susman, Keker, and Barlitt Beck's bonuses.

Wachtell is not paying $160k bonuses ITT wtf are you talking about?

I am starting to think you're a figment of DH2O's imagination, designed to push all of TLS's buttons.

Not true. Full salary bonuses have been/ are paid at all four of these firms.

TaipeiMort is wrong on a lot of things. This is not one of them.

It's only helpful if you're one of the 20 people who even has a sliver of a chance to get Susan/Keker/Bartlitt Beck.

Have in the past, but not in the past 3 years. 45%-55% bonuses at WLRK. You don't know what you're talking about. Per usual.

I'm not. None of them were in the NLJ250. Only one made NLJ350. They're just local counsel shops.

Touche, I retract my statement. TaipeiMort is perhaps always wrong...

I don't think those firms have class sizes that big? Don't they each hire like 3-4 people.

I meant 20 people all together that even have a chance at one one of them. And that's out of every law student + clerks in the country.

Dude. I was using an illustrative example. Anyone who follows compensation knows that Wachtell has come down on bonuses for the last three years. However, the will be coning up again when the economy rebounds or entity liquidation regulation and tax continue to become cumbersome. I mean even Susman ebbs and flows.

Bartlett doesn't look at you until post-clerkship.

Keker takes one of HYS and Berkeley, and recruited at Chicago last year.

I knew a guy who got a callback with Susman. He said the other two with him were odd guys, one of which had a Wachtell offer in hand and was "looking to trade up." They don't hire until after clerkship as well.

Dudes need to stop with the passive aggressive glass feelings act. This is an online message board. You guys act like believing that one school is better than another or misstating a firm's comp structure is worth curb checking someone over.

Bryan Cave NY pays only $145k base, although I think their bonus structure is more generous than other firms.
