Traveling on the job

Postby Curious1 » Mon Apr 16, 2012 12:08 pm

(Sorry, this was posted in the wrong forum the first time--also, didn't know TLS reversed its post-deletion policy)

Can anyone with experience speak to how much traveling there is involved in a firm job?

I'm not harboring fantasies about practicing international human rights law and jetting off around the world, but do clients ever need to be met abroad or someplace that's not New York? If I'm going to be working 80+ weeks it would be nice to get out of my base cities at least occasionally.
