Clerkship Bonus Payout

Postby Anonymous User » Tue Apr 03, 2012 3:26 pm

I'm a current law clerk who is going to a NYC V20 firm this fall. Just wondering if anyone out there knows how the clerkship bonus is paid out to incoming associates. Do they pay it all out in a lump sum at the beginning of employment? Or do they pay half at the beginning, and half after one year? Or does it vary depending on the firm?

It varies from firm to firm.
