My usual advice when it comes to C&F things is to spend $100-200 for an initial consultation with an attorney in your state who practices in c&f/ethical issues. That way, you get expert advice from someone who knows how the board has decided similar situations, and you'll learn the best course of action. A couple hundred dollars for piece of mind (and potentially invaluable advice) seems well worth it for me.

OP here. Just in case anyone else has this issue - After talking with a few people it seems that it won't be a big deal as long as I disclose it to the school and am honest in the C&F portion. Because there was nothing formal and it is basically their word against mine it isn't something that will keep me from passing the bar. Still planning on consulting with an adviser at my school.

I think this is right. You shouldn't have any problems, just be sure to disclose and be honest about it. Talk to your adviser when you get to that point.

In some states they send a form to every former employer asking if there is any reason you should not be a lawyer. Also there's a question on most C&F exams ask if you've ever been let go and why.

Were either of these jobs off the books? If so, don't report them.
